Who else touches your data
Last updated: 5 October 2026
SendPraise is run by one person, but it cannot run on its own — a database has to live somewhere and the website has to be served from somewhere. These are the companies that hold or process data on our behalf. It is the complete list, not a selection.
If you are a business considering SendPraise, this is the page to check before you sign up. If a new provider is ever added, it appears here.
The list
Supabase
Database, authentication and file storage
Data held in: Frankfurt, Germany (EU)
Vercel
Application hosting, content delivery, and cookieless, aggregate web analytics (page views, referrers, device type — no personal identifiers, no cross-site tracking; verified against Vercel's own privacy documentation)
Data held in: Global edge network
Cal.com
Booking scheduling for the 'talk to Harry' call — stores the booker's name, email and any notes they leave
Data held in: United States (standard tier). Holds EU-US Data Privacy Framework certification — verified against Cal.com's own published compliance information, 2026-08-21
Resend
Sends the two emails an account needs — confirming an email address when someone signs up, and resetting a forgotten password. It holds the recipient's email address and the message we sent them, and a delivery log of both, for 30 days. It also sends us our own one-line alert when a website enquiry arrives, which carries none of the enquirer's details
Data held in: United States. Emails are sent from Resend's Ireland region, but Resend states that account data, email metadata and delivery logs are stored in the US regardless of sending region — so this is a UK-to-US transfer. Covered by Standard Contractual Clauses and Resend's EU-US Data Privacy Framework certification with the UK Extension, per its own published Data Processing Agreement, read 2026-09-02
What is deliberately absent
There is no advertising network and no tracking pixel. We use Vercel Web Analytics to see aggregate traffic to this site — things like how many people visited a page and roughly where from — and it sets no cookies, does not follow anyone across sessions or other sites, and cannot re-identify a visitor: Vercel discards the underlying session data after 24 hours. We also count things like how many people tapped through to leave a Google review, without cookies and without recording anything about the person. Neither is why there is no cookie banner on this site — nothing here needs your consent to run, because nothing here follows you.
No AI provider currently sees any of your data. If that changes — we intend to add a filter that checks incoming praise for anything unkind — this page will say so, name the provider, and say where it processes data, before it is switched on.
We send two emails to the people who use SendPraise, and only two. One confirms your email address when you create an account; one lets you set a new password if you forget yours. There is no newsletter, no marketing email and no notification email — if that ever changes, this page will say so first. The only other email we send is to ourselves: a one-line alert when someone uses our contact form, telling us to go and look. It carries none of their details. Our email provider is listed above.
Where in the world
Our database is in Frankfurt, Germany. Transfers between the UK and the European Economic Area are covered by the UK’s adequacy decision, so no additional safeguard is needed for it.
Two of the providers above hold data in the United States: Cal.com, if you book a call with us, and Resend, which sends the two account emails. Sending personal data outside the UK needs a legal safeguard in place first, and each of them has one — both are certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, and our agreement with Resend carries the standard contractual clauses on top of that. Neither of them ever receives a piece of praise: what a customer writes is stored in Frankfurt and is not sent to either.
If we ever need another provider outside the UK or EEA, we will put the right transfer mechanism in place first and say so here.
Questions
Email hello@sendpraise.co.uk. If you are a larger organisation and need this in a particular format for your own records, ask — it is a reasonable thing to want and we would rather send it than have you guess.
